I am looking for level 3 group homes or treatment centers for a 16 year old male. Can you help with this?

My Barnett ancestors were land investors and developers before 1800 in Virginia. They were the children and grandchildren of James Barnett and his wife Anne Davis. One town was Danville. Could you tell me where there may be documentation archived on the early history of the area? After Danville the Barnetts opened up the area of Leaksville, Rockingham Co., North Carolina with a mill and canal. Thank you.

Hello,?

The publisher of this site, NCpedia is the State Library of North Carolina in Raleigh, NC. Some articles come from published books that we have been given permission to make digital from that book's publisher. Hope that helps.?

I am interested in finding factual information concerning the Loftis brothers of Durham, NC. Three of the six brothers played at Duke in the years leading to WWII. The Loftis brothers also won a family basketball tournament beating a family by the name of Johnson. In addition, they were a part of the Durham High School team which went something like three years without losing a game (more than 260 contests.) The DHS team boasted the likes of the Loftis bros, Bones McKinney, Gordon Carver, and Bob Gant, to name a few that come to mind
.
I used the search box for Loftis brothers but drew a blank. Any assistance in finding more informatio.n on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

Good luck,
Chris Loftis
